Masmajou is situated at the edge of a small hamlet amidst the beautiful countryside of the Tarn and Aveyron in Occitanie, one of France's most enticing and enchanting regions.
We have two Gîtes:
Helen - 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people. (with handicap facilities)
Alice - 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 5 people.
The 10x5m swimming pool and large sun terrace.
We can also cater for groups as both Gîtes may be rented together for up to 13 people.
The region is rich in history.
Since the medieval times events and the people have left their mark on the countryside - the Romans, the Cathars, the 100 years war ... giving us ancient buildings, vineyards and hill top Bastide villages.
More recently famous people as Toulouse-Lautrec and Jean Jaures, even Sir Norman Foster has left his mark here by designing the Millau Bridge (tallest bridge in the world).
However it isn't only history.
We have some of France's finest food - Cassoulet, Roquefort cheese, Toulouse sausages, Foie Gras, and many excellent Duck dishes.
For the sporty there's the Cap'Découverte a multi-sport centre
plus a range of outdoor activities and pursuits in the area
walking, cycling, kayaking, sailing, fishing, golf, lake & river swimming, horse riding
The farmhouse was built in 1856 and added to as the original family grew - we are only the second family to own it, many of the original features exist and form its character.
If you're looking for beautiful and comfortable holiday accommodation, you need not search any further.
